Produce for Families

Community Supported Agriculture

At April Joy Farm, we feel strongly about simplicity, sustainability and cultivating gratitude. We encourage our CSA families to remember that part of the adventure and education of a CSA is trying new vegetables and learning to eat within the seasons of our local foodshed. Our goal is for the produce you take home to be thoroughly enjoyed! We strive to offer as many options as possible in any given week throughout the season and we take great effort to source certified organic seeds of unique varieties which you’ll never find in the grocery store. The CSA experience is about eating nutritionally dense, organically grown food while connecting to the story of your food.

What makes our CSA unique?

  • Choice: The Pick Six! structure of our CSA allows you to personally choose six selections every week from the wide variety of produce we grow for flavor and diversity.
  • Transparency: You pick up your weekly CSA selections right at our farm and in the process, have the opportunity to see our philosophy and our practices in action.
  • Experience:  April Joy Farm has been serving Clark County families for more than a decade.  We have the expertise and an innovative spirit that keep us refining our practices and offerings.
  • Healthy Food:  We are passionate land stewards deeply committed to the soil, plant, and animal communities under our care.  Our WSDA organic certification is just the baseline of our sustainable practices.  We also continue to partner with the USDA, WSU and Clark Conservation District on a number of conservation projects.  We don’t cut corners; when we say sustainable, we have ten years of credentials to back it up.
  • Quality: We custom harvest and pack our produce with great care only 24 hours in advance of CSA pickup to provide you with exceptionally nutritious food.  Our CSA program has maintained a 90%+ retention rate for the last three years.  We take pride in what we do and it shows.
  • Community: As an April Joy Farm member, you’ll get a chance to connect with your farmers as well as other inspiring CSA member families at our CSA pickup each week.

We are now welcoming new members for the upcoming season!
